On his page “uarmyhope,” he initially followed an aesthetic style of photos that were only taken using a polaroid camera. In an interview with Esquire, he explained his thought-process at the time. " At first I wanted to do something special, so I started posting Polaroid pictures which I scanned myself. " 😚 — J-Hope He suddenly stopped posting polaroid photos on February 17, 2022. His last photo was that of stones with the caption “HOMETOWN.” According to him, it was difficult to maintain this posting style long-term. Because he had to take every photo using a polaroid camera, scan them himself, and then upload them online, he had to plan everything in advance. "It wasn’t an easy process." 😩 — J-Hope J-Hope stopped using this method when he realized that he wanted a less curated feed. "Through SNS, I had many moments of my life that I wanted to share. But with the Polaroid feed, there were limits.
