BLACKPINK becomes the first musical act to reach 90 million subscribers in YouTube history.

On July 17, BLACKPINK's YouTube channel marked a new milestone in the music industry after surpassing 90 million subscribers (approximately 7 years and 1 month since the channel opened), becoming the first to achieve this among all the artists worldwide. Additionally, Lisa and Jennie show their impact on their own merit by having their respective personal YouTube channels among the Top 10 most subscribed by Asian acts, surpassing recognized groups.

BLACKPINK's dominance on music platforms is undeniable as in recent months their channel has become the Most Viewed Artist Channel in YouTube history. BLACKPINK is also the first K-pop artist to have 4 videos that exceed 1.4 Billion views, the only Kpop Act with five videos exceeding 1.3 Billion views, First K-Pop Act with two videos exceeding 1.8 billion views, among other records. The girl group has also shown excellent performance on Spotify by being crowned the most streamed girl group of all time on the platform, completely taking over the top 10 most streamed songs by female K-pop acts, and much more despite their currently small discography versus other artists.
